Bailando en Tejas - Saturdays 7 - 9 PM

Because we are a listener-sponsored station, we rely almost entirely on contributions from our listeneres in order to stay on the air.
I, as a volunteer at KPFT simply want to play the best Tejano music. As one of the only Tejano programs that airs on the FM dial. Bailando en Tejas seeks your support to keep it on the air.

Through your contributions Bailando en Tejas will continue to provide a variety of classical Tejano sounds not heard on commercial radio in the Houston area.
In addition, the local Tejano and broader Houston community can be informed of the latest bands that come into the area and the places where they will perform. Bailando en Tejas hopes to expand its airtime and bring the sound of Tejas to the thousands of listeners hungry for " la onda Tejana ".

Please help Bailando en Tejas solidify and expand its impact in the Houston-Galveston area. You will contribute to a long musical tradition that has been the culture of many of our grandparents, parents and now our youth. Please help hus to keep our cultura alive!
