KPFT relies on the hard work and dedication of its volunteers! Volunteers are needed to staff events like concerts, speeches, fundraisers, and outreach.

If you're handy, join us on select Saturday mornings to pitch in with facility upkeep. Most programmers and committee members are volunteers here too. Your energy and positive attitude helps keep non-commerical radio on the air!

Houston's diverse communities represent more than the cardboard capitalist consumer the system would have us become. We simply refuse to give up fighting on issues important to us and our future. If you're not involved, the first step towards change is showing up and adding your efforts. Let's all come together and make waves! If you are organizing a progressive or creative event you don't see listed here, submit it by emailing our Calendar Curator!
